Meet Principal Lynn Dykstra
Mrs. Dykstra is eager to greet students and parents!
After Dan Day announced his retirement, Superintendent Brian Davis chose veteran HPS administrator Lynn Dykstra as the new principal at Harrington School. "It's wonderful to welcome Lynn back," said Davis. "She has previously served as principal at Holland Heights and Harrington and she's eager to contribute her experience again. She values diversity. She promotes achievement. And parents and students alike are going to enjoy her friendly manner as well."
Lynn Dykstra has been an educator for 35 years. Mrs. Dykstra got her start teaching in New Jersey, and also taught in Illinois and Alabama before joining Holland Public 25 years ago. She earned her Bachelors degree from Illinois State. Mrs. Dykstra went on to earn her Reading Specialist degree from National College, a Masters in Elementary Education from the University of Alabama and an Administration Certificate from Grand Valley State University.
