Welcome to Mrs. Campbell's home page!
Hi! I'm Mrs. Campbell. I am lucky to have a job I love and the most awesome fourth graders this year. They are creative, clever and fun. I also enjoy my four children, three married and one just graduated from University of Michigan. (GO BLUE) Please don't hesitate to call me if you have concerns or questions at #494-2445, or e-mail jcampbel@hollandpublicschools.org.
Spring fever has finally arrived! We are currently celebrating EARTH DAY; the class has been very busy working on a celebration program on Friday the 27th, implementing their own ideas has been fun. In writing, we are working on our third essay, working on sentence structure, format and quality. We will be publishing it in a hard back book. In Science we are studying Animals in their Habitat. We will be taking a trip to Van Raalte Farm next Wednesday, the first week of May. We are working with geography, studying landforms, map skills, and continents. Most of us have learned our 50 states! In math we are working on customary measurement and conversions. We are getting excited for the parade in May and are amazed at how fast the year has gone!
Our Class WIKI site: Here is the active link where we post student work and sites for them to work on their 4th grade outcomes. This link will also provide you with our class calendar, newsletter and slides of our special programs. Note that the WIKI takes you away from our HPS website.
