Hello! Welcome to the 2011 - 2012 School Year!!
My name is Jane Baker and I am the Special Education / Learning Center teacher for Kindergarten, First, and Second grade students at Holland East.
Students with a wide range of learning needs come to the Learning Center throughout the school day. In addition, they receive support in their general education classroom.
Students receiving Learning Center support work hard to develop their reading, writing, and math skills. In addition, we work on language development, social/emotional skills, and sensory needs.
Each student is serviced in a positive and caring environment where I work closely with the general education teachers, support staff, and you as parents to provide the best education possible for your child.
