This spring, the 6th grade went to Camp Geneva for two days of leadership training. The students participated in a variety of team building activities to help them become the leaders of their "Families" for the 2009-2010 school year. Students practiced communication skills, learned how to encourage one another and work cooperatively. Students also had time to celebrate their individuality by bouncing classmates off of the blob, geocaching, sliding down the zip line and archery. The camp was a huge success and the students are excited to use their new leadership skills next year with their school families.
