Robyn Emde

Hello. I'm Robyn Emde and I've been a counselor in Holland Public Schools for 8 years. I have a masters degree in Counseling and a PhD in Counselor Education Supervision with a specialty in Forensics. I've been a counselor for 20 years and prior to that I taught Elementary and Middle School for 10 years both here in the United States and in Asia. In July of 2012 I was appointed by Governor Rick Snyder to be on the Michigan State Counseling Board that I still serve. I am looking forward to representing Holland Public Schools as I work alongside the other members of the board to review laws that concern the counseling profession in Michigan. I also sit on the American School Counselors Association Rules and Regulations committee. This committee determines the direction of school counseling for the nation.

I work with students whose last names are Go-O.

I am the key point person for the following tasks:

  • Senior Parent Meeting
  • Financial Aid Information Night
  • Career Line Tech Center
  • Foreign Exchange Students
  • Lakeshore Youth Leaders
  • Calling all Colors
  • Rotary Interact
  • Educational Development Plans
  • Military Recruitment and Visits
